About our remote industrial site management solution

CampLogistiks was created in 2008 when the mining company Consolidated Thompson asked us to develop a room and cafeteria management application for its Lake Bloom camp in Fermont, Quebec.

We developed a prototype in Access format to meet the client’s immediate needs. A few months later, we saw potential in the market for an “Enterprise” application that could serve all mining companies in Quebec and perhaps even worldwide. That’s how the CampLogistiks adventure got started.

In early 2009, our teams based in Montreal (Canada) and North Africa then began developing the first version of our software, which we called “Site Management.” It was a completely web-based, modular application using .NET and SQL Server technologies and a multilingual, multisite architecture.

Then, we migrated “Consolidated Thompson” to this new version and began managing the application like a commercial product along with all that this implies: development and support teams, marketing, business model, roadmap, documentation, etc.
